A library card qualifiys it’s holder to borrow books, movies, CDs, and opens the door for the many other things the library has to offer. It also enables it’s holder to use MidYork’s online services and materials. A person can now borrow ebooks and audio books online as well as search the catalog and renew and order materials from home.
Adult
Individuals ages 17 and older can get an adult library card by filling out the Adult application (available at the library) and returning it. Adults must present a photo ID.
Youth
Children ages 5 to 16 can get a Youth Library Card by filling out the Youth application (available at the library) and returning it with a parent or guardian’s signature.
